Eilen juostiin Irlannin
pääradalla Shelbourne Parkissa kovatasoisia lähtöjä. Pääosassa
tietysti oli Irish Oaks finaali, jonka voitti puhtaalla
juoksulla Oran Majestic ajalla 29.02.
Armin (Armani
Pearl) pojista kaksi, Allen Pride ja Allen Mist olivat
päässeet mukaan tähän kovatasoiseen iltaan.
Mist oli raivannut tiensä 4000 euron finaaliin. semien
nopeimpana Mist oli jo jonkinlainen ennakkosuosikki finaalissa.
Hyvä startti, huonompi ykköskaarre, mutta valtavan hieno nousu
takaa ja sadasosalla voitto!

Allen Pride oli päässyt mukaan
The Sporting Press A1 Puppy 525 kisaan ja startti oli loistava
ja johdossa lähes loppuun asti, lopussa kuitenkin kaveri meni
ohi ja tuloksena loistava kakkossija huippuajalla 28.72, joka
oli päivän viidenneksi paras.
Group 1 Oaks voitettiin siis samana iltana ajalla 29.02 ja
puhtaalla juoksulla. Nostaa kyllä Priden juoksun arvoa.

There was strong support
for Allen Mist in the final of the 2,000 Euro A2 Puppy 525 and
it was justified in the very last stride as the son of Brett Lee
and Armani Pearl got up to credit owners Peter Comerford and
Tony Moore with the prize. Burberry Lass set a strong gallop
here and still looked the winner around the bottom bends where
Allen Mist and Tyrur Nodge were in pursuit.
However Allen Mist proved strong up the straight and his late
surge saw him snatch a short head verdict from Burberry Lass in
28.90 with Tyrur Nodge two lengths adrift in third."

TITANIC UPSET
There was a massive upset in the A1 Puppy 525 where
former English racer Titan Tyrone made a winning Irish debut and
his success led to a Trio dividend of 402 Euro for a single Euro
stake. Allen Pride cut out the running from Pray And
Play as the favourite Droopys Noel was slowly into stride. The
Larry Mason trained Titan Tyrone (Premier County/ Shalome) went
second on the second bend and closed down the far side. Titan
hit the front on the last bend and ran on to win by a length
from Allen Pride in 28.65."
